Please read carefully. Applications for badges are approved or rejected (at anytime) at the discretion of the Institute for Nonprofit News. Approval is on a first-come, first-served basis. All persons applying for credentials are subject to verification and security review. Upon approval, you will be given instructions on when, where and how to pick up your official conference press badge.
Note: Credentials do not replace conference registration and do not grant access to attendee benefits and services. If you are a working member of the media who is also attending the conference, media credentials are still required if you wish to cover special events, conduct interviews, etc. in addition to separate application for credentials for conference registration.
Media representatives will need documentation of approval to cover the conference from their supervisor, as well as a copy of their work ID. Journalists/photographers/videographers and organizations are responsible for bringing, utilizing, storing and securing their own equipment. Access is not guaranteed. Workspace is not guaranteed for reporting, recording, etc.
If you are requesting credentials for multiple people under one company/organization, please note that all members of your team may not be able to cover the same event due to limited spacing. If there is a shortage of space, team members may have to alternate. Each individual team member under one company/organization must apply for credentials. Access will not be granted to events and areas without an approved conference press badge.
To ensure your credentials are approved and printed in a timely manner, please apply by August 1, 2020. Click here for the Media and Press Credential Application.
A government-issued ID will be required to pick up your press badge at the conference. Badges cannot be shared.
Travel Scholarships will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for INN members in good standing. Click here for the Travel Scholarship application.
