Be part of our work to re-invent local television and video reporting! We deliver through apps, web, newsletters, social, podcast, targeted streaming, and traditional cable. The workflow manager role will be an integral part of our GNI project development, as well as focused on technical field production and multi-modal workflow processes. The role can be configured in a hybrid model, with a mix of onsite and remote activity.  Here’s the full job description:

Role: The Workflow Manager logistically and technically manages video production, station scheduling, web publishing, and other content workflows, as well as supporting analytics and other data activity. It requires linear thinking, basic technical comfort, and a willingness to learn.

Organization: Local TV reinvented! Lower Cape Community TV is a 501(c)3 organization that supports community media, local news reporting and a nonprofit newsroom, video production, and multiple web/digital platforms. We believe that telling and sharing our regional stories helps connect and sustain our communities.

Requirements:

·       Degree in media, business, technology or related field.

·       Basic knowledge of video production workflow.

·       Familiarity with basic web management and social medial tools.

·       Ability to move a project through a process.

·       Ability to handle production deadlines and juggle multiple tasks calmly.

·       Ability to analyze a process and develop and implement improvements.

·       Ability to work with diverse team in professional and respectful manner.

·       Interest in building and sustaining community.

·       Knowledge of or willingness to learn Castus, Final Cut, Excel, Google Analytics, and other emerging tools.

Responsibilities

·       Develop/manage workflow processes for a variety of content production activities including video, audio, web, push newsletter, IP streaming, and social media

·       Schedule content into cable stations and custom IP streams

·       Work with community partners to coordinate/upload/ingest content

·       Develop and manage meaningful analytics process

·       Write/curate/deliver content on social platforms with eye toward analytics

·       Support/enhance facility use processes for room AV

·       Collaborate on set up for studio, podcast, remote, and live sessions.

·       Continually analyze workflow performance and develop and deploy enhancements as needed.
