DESCRIPTION:There are the audiences newsrooms want\, and then they’re the ones they can get. \nHow can we better anticipate the “gettable” audience in a world with more forces pulling people away from news? \nJoin INN on Oct. 8 at CUNY’s Newmark Journalism School for a full day exploring the forces reshaping how people find news\, the tools INN is building to help organizations navigate them\, and hands-on workshops to name the most urgent challenges — and the resources newsrooms need next. \nOver the day\, INN will unveil new audience benchmarks built on nearly a decade of Index data that offer new insights about reach and growth\, preview new distribution opportunities\, and more. Join audience experts\, researchers and newsroom leaders as we design the strategies and resources news needs as its landscape keeps shifting. \nTickets are $125\, or $100 for INN members. Lunch will be provided. \nA limited number of travel stipends of up to $500 are available to INN members.
