Glynnis Melnicove leads INN’s efforts to generate and utilize rigorous research and data to strengthen the nonprofit news sector. This includes the annual INN Index which provides newsrooms and funders with a comprehensive picture of the state of the sector. Prior to joining INN, Glynnis was a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research where she designed and led research studies and evaluations that informed US Government programs and policies, including those focused on strengthening independent media and democracy globally. An alumna of American University and New York University, she currently resides in Washington, DC.
