You can put your DAF dollars to work and build a thriving nonprofit news field. We’ve made it easy to initiate your grant recommendation. If you have an account at Fidelity, Schwab or Vanguard, recommend a grant today to our Federal EIN #27-2614911.
Stock Gifts
If you wish to donate appreciated stock or mutual funds, please email Lisa Gardner-Springer at INN. Notify us when you’ve made your gift and ask your broker or bank to include your name in the transaction so that we can quickly acknowledge your generous support of our work.

How do I give via a donor advised fund (DAF) or make a stock donation?
For a DAF, please do the following in your DAF portal:
- Enter in the amount and acknowledgment however you wish
- Search for “The Miami Foundation” or Tax ID: 65-0350357
- Enter as Use or Purpose: “NewsMatch” (Often there is a custom option — please use that!)
