Log into the INN member portal to pay dues, update member information, or make changes to your FindYourNews.org profile. Read best practices and suggestions below instructions.

*This is usually the most confusing step. We want to make sure you end up in the right place and recommend reading this section in-full.

Organization’s credentials are used to log into the INN member portal to pay member dues or update your organization’s profile.

Staff members looking to make these changes must login as the organization and not as an individual user or personal email address.

So where can I find my organization’s username and password? Your organization’s credentials are created by the INN team and are only shared via email with members of your team. These credentials have been most recently sent to the following contacts at your organization:

• Person listed as the INN member primary contact
• Person listed as the NewsMatch primary contact

Please contact your organization’s lead contact with INN if you do not have access to your organization’s login information or email us at membership@inn.org for more help.

Step 3.

How to tell if you’re in the right place to make changes at the organization-level : You will know that you are logged in as your organization if the greeting on your page reads “Welcome [Organization Name].” If your greeting lists your personal name, you are in the wrong place. 

• To update your organization’s profile and the information that powers FindYourNews.org, use the What would you like to do? dropdown menu in the upper right corner and select Update profile.
• To pay member dues,  use the What would you like to do? dropdown menu in the upper right corner and select Pay member dues.

Best Practices:

• Make sure to know who primary contact of your organization is including contact email address
• Save credentials in safe place
• If you allow other team members profile access, make sure to inform them where credentials are and how to log in
• Avoid autofill when logging in
• Understand the two different types of profiles in the INN database
