The Institute for Nonprofit News will expand access to its annual conference on nonprofit news thanks to strong sponsor support.
The June 9-10 virtual conference covering trends and growth in nonprofit journalism will now be free and registration open to the public.
INN Days is underwritten by Knight Foundation and Inasmuch Foundation. Thanks to additional sponsorship from corporate and nonprofit partners, INN will extend the free access launched in 2020 to meet growing interest in the field from researchers, civic and business leaders, educators and philanthropists, as well as journalists.
“We are grateful to these sponsors for this opportunity to help advance the field of nonprofit news. Their support enables us to more broadly share innovation occurring across the field and the knowledge INN develops on what is fueling the growth in nonprofit news media,” said Sue Cross, INN’s executive director and CEO.
For their conference support and their work throughout the year to advance nonprofit news coverage, INN thanks gold sponsors Facebook Journalism Project, Google News Initiative and Microsoft News, silver sponsors Patch, SmartNews, Lenfest Institute and The Trust Project, and bronze sponsors DigestBuilder, Newspack, and the digital agency Do Big Things.
