Dutchie Jessee joined Cardinal News in November of 2023, after decades of working as a journalist in public and commercial radio and television. Just prior to joining Cardinal, she was Community Engagement Coordinator for NPR member station WVTF (Roanoke, VA). Dutchie is passionate about credible, local journalism and the value it adds to the quality of life in a community. In addition to her development and marketing role at Cardinal, she hosts the organization’s podcast, Cardinal News 250.
