About Jennifer Bowman
I’m a San Diego native with more than a decade of accountability and investigative reporting experience.
Before coming back home and joining inewsource, I worked at daily newspapers in Michigan and North Carolina.
At the Asheville Citizen Times, my coverage of yearslong corruption helped lead to federal convictions against five county officials. I also reported on wide-ranging financial fraud at a public mental health agency while at the Battle Creek Enquirer.
Outside of journalism, I’m a lucky mom of our two girls — and a goofy black pug named Pablo.
