Kate B. Maxwell is the founder and publisher of The Mendocino Voice, an online local news outlet based in Northern California starting in 2016. She previously received a JSK Stanford Community Impact Fellowship and an RJI Innovation Fellowship, and is currently working on the News Go Bag Project, a platform supporting local journalists covering emergencies and disasters.
