About Mariko Chang
Mariko joined Civil Beat in September 2016, shortly after the organization transitioned to a nonprofit. Since then, she has supported the newsroom’s growth by working in membership, events and major gifts.
Prior to Civil Beat, Mariko held positions at the Hawaii Theatre Center, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University.
She currently lives in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu with her husband and 1 year old daughter.
