About Paulette Brown-Hinds
Dr. Paulette Brown-Hinds is founder of Voice Media Ventures, publisher of Black Voice News, and a two-time JSK Journalism Fellow at Stanford University. She is the publisher of a guidebook for California-based community foundations, community media, and philanthropy to financially support local journalism. And in 2023, while at Stanford University, she co-produced a summit that brought together community foundations, donors, news innovators and private foundations to share more on investments being made in local journalism across the state of California. Paulette serves on the boards of numerous philanthropic and journalism serving organizations including the Inland Empire Community Foundation.
