About Amy Kovac-Ashley
Amy Kovac-Ashley is the executive director of Tiny News Collective, which provides the tools, resources and learning community to help early-stage news entrepreneurs build community-focused news organizations.
She has spent a dozen years coaching news organizations, executives and journalists. Her work at API and Lenfest Institute focused on local news sustainability and organizational culture. She was also a journalism educator and administrator at WVU and Georgetown University. Previously, she was a reporter and editor, with a background in community engagement.
Kovac-Ashley authored the “News Executive Leadership Transition Guide” and advises news leaders and boards on operational resilience and succession planning.
