About Jessie Higgins
Jessie Higgins is the managing editor at Charlottesville Tomorrow, a news organization serving central Virginia. Jessie is a veteran investigative journalist with a track record for breaking important stories. She’s found her calling in nonprofit news, leading a team that strives above all else to be of service to diverse communities. Charlottesville Tomorrow has produced a voter guide focused on Charlottesville and Albemarle County since its founding 2005. Last year, with service in mind, Jessie led the expansion of the organization’s signature product to create the most comprehensive Voter Guide available in central Virginia, including local races across 12 counties.
