Road to the Capitol: How Local Newsrooms Can Access Free C-SPAN Video Coverage for Campaign 2026

Join C-SPAN to learn about Road to the Capitol: Candidate Coverage from the Trail, a new national initiative that will provide local, nonprofit, and independent news organizations with free access to on-the-ground video coverage of competitive U.S. House, Senate, and gubernatorial races during the 2026 midterms elections.
Through this first-of-its-kind video partnership model, C-SPAN is deploying multimedia journalists to key battleground states and sharing full event recordings, clips, and transcripts at no cost with participating newsrooms.
