Get answers to frequently asked questions about your INN membership. 

INN MEMBER PORTAL: Log into INN’s member database to update your organization’s profile, manage communications preferences, pay dues, post a job, and connect with peers and access other benefits.

How do I:

Pay dues or update my organization’s online profile?

Follow these instructions to log into the INN Member Portal to renew your organization’s membership or update your profile on FindYourNews.org. If you experience trouble accessing your organizational account, please contact login@inn.org.

Contact an INN staffer?

The INN staff is here for you. To find the person best positioned to answer your specific question, please view our Office Hours with INN Staff page, where you can sign up for meetings or email one of us directly.

Find services and programs?

Visit the INN Resources Database to search available tools, services, and other resources available to INN members. You’ll find highly valuable benefits like wealth screening services, fiscal sponsorship, internship placement, and more. See a broken link or have an idea for a service we should add? Email services@inn.org with your suggestions.

Register for events?

Check out scheduled member events and webinars on the inn.org Events calendar. If you are logged into the INN Member Portal, you can also browse there for events of interest.

Use the listserv?

Ask questions, share opportunities and discuss ideas with people at all of INN’s member organizations via our email listserv. For more targeted communications, try INN’s peer communities on Slack. To be added to the listserv, submit your contact info.

Want to talk with people who have similar jobs or work at organizations that are similar to yours? Tell us about yourself and we’ll add you to the Peer Community Slack channels that interest you.

Share a job opening?

Through INN’s Career Center, members can post a job for free. Log into the Member Portal, navigate to the employer tab, and then click “Post a Job.” Once you publish the description, we’ll keep it up for 30 days and promote it in our INNovation newsletter that reaches about 7,000 people interested in nonprofit news.

If you work for an INN member organization, you can log into the INN Member Portal and update “Communications Preferences” to opt into the member-exclusive Notebook newsletter — our Monday round-up of the best resources for newsrooms – as well as other offerings.

To suggest content, please share your news and we’ll try to mention it in one of our newsletters or INN’s social media platforms.

If you don’t yet have a personal user profile, email login@inn.org to receive a link that will allow you to set up a username and password.

Get access to the INN Network member badge?

Let your audiences know that you are a member of INN!

The INN Network Member Badge helps your organization show audiences and funders that you uphold INN’s high standards of journalistic quality, editorial independence and transparency.

Display the badge in your website’s footer (recommended) or About section, linking it to our Nonprofit News & the INN Network page, where supporters can learn more about the values you share with your peers.
